Marshall Harris, Chattanooga

"A couple of friends asked me to make their engagement rings... I started looking for a class to take to improve my skills and discovered the John C. Campbell Folk School. I took a silver clay class and then ended up coming back for other silver classes. During one of my visits to the Folk School I found out about the work study program and it seemed like the perfect way to continue improving my jewelry skills. After taking the silver classes, I decided to make a career change from programmer to jewelry maker. I was excited to learn more about the craft of jewelry as well as have the opportunity to try other things like blacksmithing."

Jewelry has become both Marshall's passion and career as he ads more and more experimental and earth designs to his collection. Marshall is available for custom commissions for rings, pendants, and other jewelry items. Call the gallery any time to schedule a consultation.
