Studio Director and Instructor Summer Fisher, currently teaching Stained Glass for Beginners Copper Foil, Beginners Level II Copper Foil and Beginners Lead Calme.

Classes are once a week, for five consecutive weeks.

Beginners Copper Foil will complete two window hanging projects, one in clear glass, one in stained glass. Class covers history of stained glass and a comprehensive overview of the art form along with personalized hands on instruction in glass cutting, pattern use, tools of the trade, copper foil and lead came techniques, soldiering and finishing.

Level II or Intermediate students will complete one medium sized project of their choice, based on their own comfort/skill level, in the copper foil method.

Beginners Lead Calme students will complete one simple geometric project using both H and U calme. The class will cover the basic use of lead including stretching, cutting, mitering, and assembling/soldering lead and glass.
