With local artist Daisy Pratt, currently teaching Stained Glass for Beginners and Beginners Level II.
Classes are two hours, once a week, for five consecutive weeks.
Beginners will complete two window hanging projects, one in clear glass, one in stained glass. Class covers history of stained glass and a comprehensive overview of the art form along with personalized hands on instruction in glass cutting, pattern use, tools of the trade, copper foil and lead came techniques, soldiering and finishing.

Daisy Pratt, a New Glass artist, has worked in stained glass for over 30 years. Her career began during her time in Florida, when she attended a Tiffany glass exhibition. She furthered her glass study when she moved to Germany and apprenticed under Herr Hans Grobbauer, a German glass meister, and received a full German Apprenticeship in Kunstglas und Kunstglasmalerie. When she returned to the US, she worked throughout the south, restoring old cathedral glass and building her own creations while teaching classes for the next several years.
