On October 12th, twelve pieces of art were stolen from Eastgate Town Center.
The
theft occurred around 4:00 p.m. during the Chattanooga-Hamilton County
Health
Department’s flu vaccinations.
The thief is a middle-aged blonde woman,
about 5’5, and around 150 pounds.
At
the time of the theft, she was wearing a pink top and jeans.
Security was alerted by the presence of a broken frame.
Upon closer examination
of evidence and video footage,
it was revealed that the thief ripped the frames
from the wall,
often tearing out anchors and damaging drywall.
All of the
artists with stolen works were notified by personal letter.
Reflections Gallery is pursuing our own investigation.
We are currently in the
process of reviewing the security footage
in order to capture the thief's face.
If anyone has any additional information,
please notify Reflections Gallery at
(423) 892-3072 or the Eastgate Town Center Main Office.
