Upcoming Shows and Events
Have any plans for next Friday night? For the second time since early 2020, we are happy to invite you out...
Join us November 6th, from
5-8pm for our First Friday
Open House -
Social, but Safe!
Throw on your new favorite mask and join us for a night out to celebrate the Autumn season, arts, and community!
Though things will still be a little different, we have planned to make this event fun for everyone while
being appropriately cautious in the conditions of our Covid reality.
We are teaming up with our awesome neighbors at Taqueria Jalisco Ania to bring you some refreshments!
Pick up a drink coupon during our open house and redeem it at the Taqueria for a $5 margarita. (Tried, tested and delicious!) One coupon for each attendee. While you’re there, check out their food menu for an excellent dinner option, either on location or order to-go. We’ve tried everything on the menu and can’t get enough!
For your Safety:
The number of guests in the gallery will be monitored during the evening to ensure adequate space for everyone, and masks are required at all times. We will not be serving refreshments but feel free to pick up a coupon for $5 margaritas at our next door neighbor, Taqueria Jalisco. Tired of your same old mask? We have some great hand-made masks for sale by Evelyn Marie Williams. Stay safe and colorful at the same time!

Michael Brown - Landscape Architect and Living Sculpture Designer
Reflections is thrilled to host plant-master Michael Brown with us for First Friday, where he will be bringing a wide selection of his sculptural living plant creations for sale. He’s the go to person for interior plant-scaping and landscape design, and he’ll be happy to share his green-thumb expertise with you. Plants are proven stress reducers and they love to live with art! Michael is the owner of Lush Chattanooga, an interior and exterior landscaping company offering design and maintenance of house and office plantings, as well as traditional landscapes.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK:
New to submissions? Here's what we are looking for….
Send us an email submission to: firstname.lastname@example.org If you are unable to submit via email you will need to schedule an appointment to do so in person with gallery personnel. You may not bring work without an appointment.
In your email, tell us a little about yourself; where you’re from, your artistic history, etc. Include your full name and your mailing address as well as a phone number where we can reach you for questions or confirmation.
Attach up to 15 images of your artwork to the email, you can include separate styles or bodies of work that you have available. Consider sending bodies of work that are similar enough in style, theme, or color that they would present well on a wall together. Please attach the image files instead of embedding them in your message. Only send works that are currently available for delivery to the gallery.
We do not accept website link only submissions, but you are welcome to include a website if you have one.
Be sure to include a list of all your attached images that lists the title, size (framed, outside dimension), medium and price of each piece.
If possible, try to name your images with the appropriate titles of the work before attaching to your email. Also try to attach images in the same order as your itemized list so that the order of the images in the email corresponds with the order of the list. These things help us clarify what piece we are looking at when reviewing a submission.
Your submission will be forwarded to an outside anonymous panel for review. When we receive confirmation of a selection we will then notify the artist of the requested works and a delivery and display date.
If you don’t hear back from us, please give us a call. Sometimes submissions may get missed in the spam email folder, so feel free to confirm that your email made it through.
Thanks for your submission, we look forward to working with you!
You may follow up with a phone call to us at 423-892-3072
